The Conte Chorus

Chorus is a full year class that meets everyday. Chorus meets with the 6th, 7th and 8th grade levels. The group focuses on learning to read music, learning musical terms and singing a wide range of music in various languages. There are at least three evening concerts through out the school year at Drury High School as well as some smaller concerts that will be held at Conte Middle School. Attendance at these concerts is part of the class and grade. Concert dress is expected to be worn at these concerts, meaning for women, black dress pants or a black skirt (at least shin length, something appropriate) and gentlemen will wear black dress pants and white dress shirts or polos. Remember no sneakers are allowed. There are also performances during the school day at the middle school. These are just a few things your child will be involved in chorus.
