Class Rules
Please come to class on
time. Once the classroom door is shut, you are considered late
and are expected to have a legitimate hall pass.
Please come to class prepared. Remember to always bring a pen or pencil and have any homework that is due with you and completed. Failure to follow this will result in the lowering of your grade point average.
Please ask to use the bathrooms at the appropriate time like during the break between classes. Remember you may no go the first 10 minutes or last 10 minutes of class. If you ask to go at an appropriate time, I will let
you go. If you show up for class late without a pass and use
that as an excuse, you will receive one warning and then detentions.
There is no chewing gum in class. Gum and singing do not mix!
If
you are absent, please be sure to ask me about what you missed for
assignments. Makeup work should be done in a timely
fashion. Don't wait until the last minute.
(These rules will be given out at the beginning of the year. The students are expected to sign and return them with the understanding that they are agreeing to abide by them)

Class List
Students arriving for Miss Downey's class should have:
A pen or pencil
Student assignment book
A three ring binderr to keep in class at all times (This is for notes, music, handouts, etc. The information inside will be available to use on any test or quiz unless otherwise stated) * VERY IMPORTANT* (If a student cannot get one, I have some available)
